Paul Liaw

Paul Liaw is an acclaimed senior modeler, and concept artist. He was recently a sr creature modeler at Industrial Light & Magic, where he sculpted dinosaurs for Jurassic World and made several costumes for Doctor Strange.

With over 17 years of experience, he has worked with over 40 companies in various fields including commercials, TV, film, VR, 3Dprint, games, medical, and teaching. Paul's work has earned him numerous accolades, including ZBrush Live Sculpt-off winner, ZBrush Central's Top Row, and awards from VES, Cannes Lions.

In addition to his CG talents, Paul has a strong passion for teaching. He regularly coaches professionals and students on modeling techniques as well as career building.. He also runs a life drawing and sculpting class.
